Get Involved
Become a Preceptor
One way to get involved is to become a preceptor for a treatment team. A preceptor is a licensed practitioner who is required to supervise students while they are practicing. See below for the requirements to become a preceptor!
Join a team
Another way to get involved is to join a treatment team. If you are a college student wanting to get involved consider joining a treatment team or contributing to the organization as a whole. See below for more information on this!
Donate to the cause
Donations are really important to keep the clinic running and treating patients as we are a non-profit organization. Donations are also helpful to help us expand and help more people in the community. If you would like to donate click the Donate Now button in the top right corner!
Joining a Treatment Team
We are currently recruiting pre-licensure students from any local/regional PT or PTA program to join treatment teams. Those who may be in these programs that spend time in the Mohawk Valley region during summer or school breaks or are in the region for a clinical are also welcome!
If you are an undergraduate student who is interested in learning more about physical therapy, we can consider offering opportunities to shadow current treatment teams.
In the future, we hope to expand to other disciplines and intend to establish an internship model that will promote additional opportunities for students who have not yet chosen a clinical education pathway. If you think you could play a role in the clinic, please reach out!
